- 2 rolls crescent roll dough
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 tbsp Dash™ Onion & Herb Seasoning Blend
- 8 oz. thinly sliced ham
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
Flaky crescent dough filled with creamy seasoned cheese, savory ham, and melted cheese, baked until golden brown for a deliciously easy snack or meal.
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a cutting board, unroll both packages of crescent roll dough. Divide the dough into 8 rectangles by keeping two triangles together and sealing any perforations by pressing the dough seams firmly together.
- In a bowl, combine the cream cheese and Dash™ Onion & Herb Seasoning until well blended.
- Divide the cream cheese mixture evenly among the 8 rectangles. Spread it into a 2-inch circle in the center of each piece.
- Place 1 ounce of ham and 1 slice of cheese on top of the cream cheese mixture on each rectangle.
- Fold all four corners of each rectangle to the center and press them together to seal, ensuring no filling is exposed.
- Arrange the sealed pockets on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes, or until they turn golden brown.
- Allow the pockets to rest for a few minutes before serving to allow the filling to set slightly.
Tips
- Chef’s Tip -For a crispier texture, brush the tops of the dough with a little melted butter before baking. This adds a golden color and an extra layer of flavor to the ham and cheese pockets.
