Ingredients

  • 3 cups green cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup purple cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • ½ cup red radishes, sliced thin
  • 1/4 cup green onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tbsp cider vinegar
  • 2 1/2 tbsp Dash™ Salt-Free Original Seasoning Blend
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp sugar

If it’s your turn to bring the cole slaw, let this crowd-pleasing dish have its day in the sun. While low in carbs and sodium, this cole slaw is definitely high in taste.

Directions

  1. In a bowl combine the cabbage, carrots, radishes, and onion. Set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the oil, vinegar, Dash™ Salt-Free Original Seasoning, sugar, and lemon juice until well combined.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until the vegetables are evenly coated.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the coleslaw for 2 to 3 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Just before serving stir to redistribute the dressing.

Tips

  • Chef’s Tip -For a pop of color and extra flavor, add a handful of chopped fresh herbs like parsley or cilantro to the coleslaw just before serving. It brightens up the dish and adds a fresh, herbal note.
