Ingredients

  • 8 oz macaroni, raw
  • 2/3 cup light mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup light sour cream
  • 3 tbsp Dash™ Salt-Free Original Seasoning Blend
  • 4 tbsp parsley fresh, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 1 cup peas frozen, thawed
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper, diced

Macaroni salad has been and will continue to be a fan favorite. This recipe is made with a perfectly healthy blend of Dash™ Salt-Free Original Blend, light mayonnaise, light sour cream and other tasty flavors.

Directions

  1. Prepare the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and let it cool slightly.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together light mayonnaise, light sour cream, Dash™ Original Seasoning Blend, and fresh chopped parsley until well combined.
  3. Add the cooked macaroni, onions, celery, peas, and red bell pepper to the bowl with the dressing. Toss everything together until the ingredients are evenly coated.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the salad until chilled and ready to serve.

Tips

  • Chef’s Tip - For best flavor, prepare the salad a few hours or even a day in advance. Letting it chill allows the flavors to meld together, making the salad even tastier when served.
