Grilled Salmon Crostini

- 1 lb salmon filet
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 1/2 tbsp Dash™ Salt-Free Original Blend divided
- 1 1/2 tbsp white scallion, sliced thinly into rounds
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 tbsp basil, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp capers, chopped lightly
- 1 French bread,12 slices, toasted
Achieve elegance on a toasted baguette by using Original Blend. This flavorful small bite is one your guests won’t be able to resist.
Directions
- Preheat the grill or broiler to medium-high heat.
- Brush the salmon filet with olive oil on both sides. Sprinkle generously with ½ tbsp Dash™ Salt-Free Original seasoning.
- Place the salmon on the grill or under the broiler. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the salmon is fully cooked and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove the salmon from the heat and let it cool slightly. Using a fork, gently flake the salmon into bite-sized pieces.
- Crostini Topping: In a bowl, combine the salmon with scallions, lemon juice, capers, basil, parsley, 1 tbsp Dash™ Salt-Free Original Blend, olive oil and the Original Blend and stir thoroughly.
- Lay out the toasted bread slices and pile two tablespoons of the salmon mixture on each.
