Chipotle Deviled Eggs with Lemon Pepper Shrimp

Ingredients

No boring deviled eggs here. Lemon Pepper and Southwest Chipotle seasoning blends add a unique and satisfying zing.

Directions

  1. For Eggs: Place eggs in a pot of cold water over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Immediately remove from heat. Cover, let eggs sit in water for 10 minutes.Peel eggs under cold running water.
  2. Cut eggs in half lengthwise and remove yolks and place in a bowl with mayonnaise, Dijon, and Dash™ Southwest Chipotle seasoning and mash until smooth.
  3. Fill egg white halves with the yolk mixture and refrigerate while you prepare the shrimp.
  4. For Shrimp: Pat shrimp dry, remove tails and place in a bowl and sprinkle with Dash® Lemon Pepper Seasoning on both sides, coating well.
  5. Heat pan with oil over medium-high heat and add shrimp. Cook 2 minutes on each side or until fully cooked. Remove from pan and cool.
  6. Top each deviled egg with one shrimp and sprinkle with fresh chives.

Tips

  • Chef’s Tip - Use mayonnaise as your base for the filling, but don’t be afraid to add some sour cream, Greek yogurt, or a touch of cream cheese for extra creaminess and depth.
