Chipotle Deviled Eggs with Lemon Pepper Shrimp

- For the eggs:
- 6 each eggs, large
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp Dash™ Southwest Chipotle Seasoning Blend
- Chives for garnish
- For the shrimp:
- 1 dozen Shrimp, medium, peeled and deveined
- 1 tsp Dash™ Lemon Pepper Seasoning Blend
- 1 tbsp olive oil
No boring deviled eggs here. Lemon Pepper and Southwest Chipotle seasoning blends add a unique and satisfying zing.
Directions
- For Eggs: Place eggs in a pot of cold water over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Immediately remove from heat. Cover, let eggs sit in water for 10 minutes.Peel eggs under cold running water.
- Cut eggs in half lengthwise and remove yolks and place in a bowl with mayonnaise, Dijon, and Dash™ Southwest Chipotle seasoning and mash until smooth.
- Fill egg white halves with the yolk mixture and refrigerate while you prepare the shrimp.
- For Shrimp: Pat shrimp dry, remove tails and place in a bowl and sprinkle with Dash® Lemon Pepper Seasoning on both sides, coating well.
- Heat pan with oil over medium-high heat and add shrimp. Cook 2 minutes on each side or until fully cooked. Remove from pan and cool.
- Top each deviled egg with one shrimp and sprinkle with fresh chives.
Tips
- Chef’s Tip - Use mayonnaise as your base for the filling, but don’t be afraid to add some sour cream, Greek yogurt, or a touch of cream cheese for extra creaminess and depth.
