Ingredients

Flaky crescent dough filled with creamy seasoned cheese, savory ham, and melted cheese, baked until golden brown for a deliciously easy snack or meal.

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a cutting board, unroll both packages of crescent roll dough. Divide the dough into 8 rectangles by keeping two triangles together and sealing any perforations by pressing the dough seams firmly together.
  3. In a bowl, combine the cream cheese and Dash™ Onion & Herb Seasoning until well blended.
  4. Divide the cream cheese mixture evenly among the 8 rectangles. Spread it into a 2-inch circle in the center of each piece.
  5. Place 1 ounce of ham and 1 slice of cheese on top of the cream cheese mixture on each rectangle.
  6. Fold all four corners of each rectangle to the center and press them together to seal, ensuring no filling is exposed.
  7. Arrange the sealed pockets on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes, or until they turn golden brown.
  8. Allow the pockets to rest for a few minutes before serving to allow the filling to set slightly.

Tips

  • Chef’s Tip -For a crispier texture, brush the tops of the dough with a little melted butter before baking. This adds a golden color and an extra layer of flavor to the ham and cheese pockets.
