Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb chicken ground
  • 2 tbsp red curry paste
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce4 green onions, sliced
  • 5 basil leaves, chopped
  • 8 each butter lettuce leaves
  • Dash™ Extra Spicy seasoning

It’s just as easy to make those fan-favorite Lettuce Wraps at home.

Directions

  1. Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add a little oil. Once hot, add the ground chicken and cook until it’s fully browned with no pink remaining.
  2. Stir in the red curry paste, minced ginger, garlic, red bell pepper, and shredded cabbage. Stir-fry everything together for about 3 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften.
  3. Lower the heat and mix in the hoisin (or teriyaki) sauce, sliced green onions, and fresh basil leaves. Toss everything together, then remove the pan from heat.
  4. Spoon 2-3 spoonful’s of the chicken mixture onto each butter lettuce leaf. Sprinkle with Dash™ Extra Spicy seasoning to your desired taste. Enjoy!

Tips

  • Chef’s Tip - Double up on the lettuce leaves for each wrap. This not only makes the wraps sturdier but also helps prevent any sauces or juices from soaking through and making them difficult to handle. Plus, it adds a refreshing crunch!
