Ingredients

Light and airy, this low-carb cloud bread is made from whipped egg whites, Parmesan cheese, and Dash™ Garlic & Herb Seasoning. Perfect for sandwiches or as a tasty snack with your favorite spreads, it’s a versatile and guilt-free bread alternative.

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a stand mixer fitted with the whip attachment, beat the egg whites and cream of tartar on high speed until stiff peaks form.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, Dash™ Garlic & Herb Seasoning, and Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
  4. Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the egg yolk mixture, being careful not to deflate the egg whites.
  5. Using a ¼ cup measure, scoop the batter onto the prepared baking sheets. With the back of the scoop, gently flatten each portion into a 4-inch circle.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, rotating the baking sheets halfway through, until the cloud bread is lightly browned and set. Allow to cool on the baking sheets before removing.
  7. Serve the cloud bread on its own with a tasty spread, or pair it with your favorite sandwich toppings for a light, fluffy treat. Enjoy!

Tips

  • Chef’s Tip -For a more stable cloud bread, make sure the egg whites are free of any yolk and that they are whipped to stiff peaks and gently fold them into the yolk mixture to retain the air. This will help keep the bread light and fluffy during baking.
