- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 1/2 cups ham, diced
- 1 1/4 cups cheddar cheese shredded, divided
- 2 tbsp Dash™ Salt-Free Original seasoning Blend divided
- 6 eggs
Transform your holiday leftovers with our Holiday Breakfast Casserole, featuring mashed potatoes, diced ham, and cheddar cheese, all brought together with Dash™ Salt-Free Original Seasoning Blend. This easy-to-make casserole is perfect for a delicious and hearty morning start.
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- In a bowl combine mashed potatoes, diced ham, ¾ cup cheese and 1 ½ Dash™ Original seasoning and mix until well combined.
- Transfer potato mixture to a casserole dish and make 6 “nests.” Crack eggs into the nests and top with ½ cup cheese and ½ tbsp Dash™ Original Seasoning.
- Cover casserole dish with foil and bake on top rack of the oven for 15-20 mins or until the egg whites are cooked through.
- Remove casserole from the oven once cooked, serve hot.
Tips
- Chef’s Tip - Crack the eggs into small bowls first and gently slide them onto the casserole. This helps you place the eggs evenly and prevents breaking the yolks, ensuring a beautiful presentation with perfectly cooked eggs on top
