Bow Tie Pasta With Chicken & Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Dash™ Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend
  • 2 cup fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 cup red pepper, seeded and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup reduced-sodium fat-free chicken broth
  • 4 oz reduced-fat cream cheese, room temperature, cut into small pieces
  • ¼ cup 2 percent milk
  • 1 lb bow tie pasta, cooked

Spruce up your regular pasta dish with savory chicken and broccoli florets. Enhanced with Dash™ Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend, this dish offers rich garlic and herb flavors in every bite.

Directions

  1. Heat pan over med-high heat with oil.
  2. Season chicken with 1 tbsp Dash™ Garlic & Herb Seasoning and cook 5 minutes, or until chicken is browned and cooked through.
  3. Add broccoli, red pepper, 1 tbsp Dash™ Garlic & Herb Seasoning and broth to skillet.
  4. Cover and cook over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes or until broccoli is tender, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add cream cheese and milk to chicken mixture, and stir until creamy.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Add pasta to chicken mixture and toss simmer for a few minutes and serve.

Tips

  • Chef’s Tip - Cook the pasta al dente and then add to the sauce and simmer for a few minutes to deepens the flavors.
