Mediterranean Garlic & Herb Tomato Crostini

- 1 ½ cup Roma tomatoes, 1/2-inch dice
- 1/4 cup Basil, fresh, chiffonade cut
- 3 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp Dash™ Garlic & Herb Seasoning
- 1 Loaf French Baguette, 1/2-inch bias sliced, toasted
- 2 tbsp Dark Balsamic Vinegar
Savor the flavors of the Mediterranean with these Garlic Tomato Crostinis. Crispy baguette slices topped with juicy Roma tomatoes, marinated in Dash™ Garlic & Herb Seasoning and olive oil. Each bite is a burst of freshness and savory goodness. Perfect as an appetizer or light snack.
Directions
- In a bowl combine diced tomatoes and basil chiffonade and set aside.
- In a separate bowl combine olive oil and 1 tbsp Dash™ Garlic and Herb Seasoning, mix well and pour over the diced tomato and basil. Using a rubber spatula gently fold the mixtures together.
- Place 2 tbsp of tomato mixture on a piece of grilled baguette and drizzle with balsamic vinegar. Sprinkle more of Dash™ Garlic and Herb Seasoning over the top.
Tips
- Chef’s Tip - To chiffonade the basil, roll the leaves tightly together and slice into thin ribbons.
