Ingredients

  • 1 each garlic clove, peeled and crushed
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup gruyère, shredded
  • 2 Tbsp. Clabber Girl® Corn Starch
  • 1 tsp Dash™ Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend
  • 1 load crusted bread, cut 1 inch cubes

Melty, cheesy, delicious, and salt-free flavor! Add Dash Garlic & Herb blend to your next fondue.

Directions

  1. Rub the inside of a medium stainless-steel pot with the clove of garlic. Discard the used clove.
  2. Add the white wine and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  3. Place both cheeses in a medium bowl. Sprinkle the cornstarch over the cheeses and toss to coat.
  4. Once the wine is at a simmer, gradually add the cheese (about a 1/2 cup at a time) to the wine. Stir constantly, with a wooden spoon, as the cheese melts. Continue until all the cheese and cornstarch has been incorporated.
  5. Once cheese is melted, season, stir in 1 tsp Dash™ Garlic & Herb Seasoning,
  6. Serve with crusty bread to dip into the fondue.

  • Chef’s Tip - The wine can be substitute by low sodium chicken broth
