- 4 each Salmon fillets with skin, 6 oz
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp Dash™ Salt-Free Original Seasoning Blend
- 1 lemon, cut wedge
A heart-healthy salmon in under 15 minutes. Season with olive oil, Dash™ Salt-Free Original Blend and chopped parsley to complement the natural flavors.
Directions
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Sprinkle Dash™ Salt-Free Original Seasoning evenly on both sides of the fillets.
- Heat sauté pan over medium-high heat with olive oil until shimmering.
- Place the salmon fillets in the pan, skin-side down. Cook for 4-5 minutes without moving, until the skin is crispy or the bottom is golden brown.
- Carefully flip the fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon reaches your desired level of doneness (internal temperature of 145°F for fully cooked salmon).
- Remove from the pan and serve with fresh lemon wedges on the side.
Tips
- Chef’s Tip - Allow the seasoned salmon to rest at room temperature for 10-15 minutes before cooking. This helps the fillets cook more evenly, resulting in a tender and juicy texture.
