Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. avocado oil
  • 1 cup onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 each jalapeno, seeded and thinly sliced
  • 2 each 15 oz. cans black beans, drained and rinsed
  • ¼ cup Dash™ Taco Seasoning Mix
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • 2-4 tbsp. water
  • ½ cup queso fresco, crumbled (optional)

Directions

  1. Heat pan over medium-high heat with oil.
  2. Add onion and jalapeños and cook, stirring frequently, for 5 minutes and add beans and Dash™ Taco Seasoning simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Transfer the seasoning bean to a blender or food processor, lime juice and water. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour into a serving dish and top with queso fresco if desired.
