Ingredients

  • 1 large sweet onion, peeled and cut into strips
  • 3/4 lb trimmed green beans
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Pepper Seasoning Blend
  • 1 tbsp unsalted margarine
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Directions

  1. Heat margarine in large skillet. Add onion and sprinkle with sugar.
  2. Cook over low heat until onions are golden and tender, about 20 minutes.
  3. Cook green beans in boiling water for 10 to 13 minutes or until tender.
  4. Drain and place in bowl.
  5. Spray hot beans with vegetable oil spray and sprinkle with Lemon Pepper Seasoning Blend; toss.
  6. Garnish with caramelized onions.
