Healthy Steak and Cheese Salad
- This healthy steak and cheese salad flavored with Tomato Basil Garlic Seasoning Blend will satisfy your steak craving. Serve boneless beef top loin steak strips over a bed of arugula, tomatoes, Monterrey Jack cheese and sharp cheddar cheese. (Recipe courtesy of The Beef Checkoff.)

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup shredded real California Monterey Jack cheese
- 4 cup arugula, torn into pieces
- 2 8-oz. boneless beef top loin (strip) steaks, cut 3/4-inch thick
- 1/4 cup shredded real California sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp Tomato Basil Garlic Seasoning Blend or Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend
- 6 small heirloom tomatoes, sliced (2 each red, green and yellow)
Directions
- Press seasoning evenly onto beef steaks.
- Spray large nonstick skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium heat until hot.
- Place steaks in skillet; cook 10 to 12 minutes for medium rare to medium doneness, turning occasionally.
- Carve steaks into thin slices.
- Arrange arugula and tomatoes on serving platter; drizzle with vinaigrette and toss.
- Top with steak slices; sprinkle with cheeses.
