Braised Red Cabbage With Apple Cider Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh apple cider
- 3 tbsp packed brown sugar
- 8 cup red cabbage
- 3 oz bacon
- 1 tbsp Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend
- 2 medium apples
- 1 large onion
Directions
- Chop bacon and cook in a large saucepan over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes or until crispy.
- Dice onion and add to bacon. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until tender.
- Finely shred cabbage.
- Core apples and cut into 1/2-inch cubes.
- Add remaining ingredients except Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend and stir well.
- Cook over medium-low heat for 40 to 50 minutes or until tender.
- Add Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend and stir.
