Caribbean Shrimp Bruschetta Recipe
Bruschetta heads to the Caribbean with this island-inspired recipe. Thinly sliced French bread topped with tomato, mushroom, basil and Dash™-seasoned shrimp and bacon creates a delightful and tasty appetizer.

Ingredients
- 3 tbsp Caribbean Citrus Seasoning Blend
- 12 large shrimp, cooked
- 6 tomatoes, seeded and diced
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 thinly sliced radicchio
- 1/2 cup freshly sliced green onions
- 3 slice bacon, cooked and chopped
- 12 pieces thinly sliced French bread
- 1/2 cup button mushrooms
- 2 oz extra-virgin olive oil
Directions
- Mix olive oil and 1/2 tablespoon Caribbean Citrus Seasoning Blend.
- Drizzle olive oil mixture over bread and lightly toast in the oven.
- In a large bowl, combine tomatoes and balsamic vinegar.
- In a large skillet, sauté onion and cook until caramelized over medium-high heat.
- Add radicchio, mushrooms and 2 tablespoons Caribbean Citrus Blend. Cook until radicchio has wilted and mushrooms have released their liquid.
- Add cooked bacon and stir to combine.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool completely.
- Fold the cooled, cooked onion-bacon mixture into the tomato mixture.
- Add the chopped cilantro and green onions.
- Quarter the cooked shrimp (about 1/2-inch pieces) and add to the tomato mixture.
- Top each toasted bread slice with tomato mixture and serve.
