Butterflied Grilled Chicken Recipe
A quick and simple way to grill a whole chicken. Crispy skin and juicy meat are what you'll get when you use Dash™ Chicken Grilling Seasoning Blend. Garnish the plate with red onions and peaches before serving.

Ingredients
- 6 large peaches
- 1 3-lb. chicken
- 3/4 tbsp Chicken Grilling Blend
- 1 large red onion
Directions
- Preheat grill to medium, about 300 degrees.
- To butterfly chicken, use a kitchen shears or poultry shears to cut along the entire length of the backbone as near as possible to the center of the chicken.
- Turn chicken over, and with the heel of your hand flatten chicken as much as possible.
- Sprinkle with Chicken Grilling Blend.
- Place chicken on grill with the skin-side up and cook for 25 to 30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked and juices run clear.
- Remove chicken and keep warm.
- Pit peaches and cut into halves.
- Cut onion into 1/2-inch slices.
- Spray onion slices and peach halves with a little olive oil.
- Place on grill and cook until tender and onions and peaches have developed grill marks.
- Carve chicken into pieces and arrange on a platter with onion slices and peach halves.
