Aglio E Olio (with Shrimp) Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 lb spaghetti
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1-2 lbs of shrimp, uncooked & deveined
- 1 tbsp Dash Lemon Pepper seasoning
- 5-6 cloves of garlic, sliced
- Pecorino romano (optional)
- Parsley, chopped (optional)
Directions
- Bring a large pot of generously salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- Next, heat a large pan with olive oil on medium heat and add your shrimp and Dash Lemon Pepper seasoning.
- Cook shrimp until they turn a light pink color then remove from pan. Add your second tablespoon of olive oil and sliced garlic and saute for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
- Turn your heat to low and add your al dente spaghetti and mix with the olive oil and garlic.
- Finally add the 1/2 cup of reserved pasta water and the shrimp back into the pan and mix to combine.
- Top with more Dash Lemon Pepper seasoning and serve with grated pecorino romano and parsley. Enjoy!
