Aglio E Olio (with Shrimp) Recipe

  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1-2 lbs of shrimp, uncooked & deveined
  • 1 tbsp Dash Lemon Pepper seasoning 
  • 5-6 cloves of garlic, sliced
  • Pecorino romano (optional)
  • Parsley, chopped (optional)


  1. Bring a large pot of generously salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. Next, heat a large pan with olive oil on medium heat and add your shrimp and Dash Lemon Pepper seasoning.
  3. Cook shrimp until they turn a light pink color then remove from pan. Add your second tablespoon of olive oil and sliced garlic and saute for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Turn your heat to low and add your al dente spaghetti and mix with the olive oil and garlic.
  5. Finally add the 1/2 cup of reserved pasta water and the shrimp back into the pan and mix to combine.
  6. Top with more Dash Lemon Pepper seasoning and serve with grated pecorino romano and parsley. Enjoy!
